KTLIT is on semi two week hiatus as I trod the Olle Trail in Jeju. But while here I would also like to check out any Lit Museums or author centers. I see a “Jeju Literature” Hall/House, but can’t find a location. Any caring reader want to help?

Apropos of nothing, but one person’s love of the Korean language:

Check out a blog (in Korean) that features an article on the Jeju Literature House.

The address of the place is Jeju-shi Keunip-dong 1038-5
The place is located across the street from the Jeju Immigrations Office (제주출입국사무소).
The Literature House’s phone number is 064-710-4029.
Its hours of operation is 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00pm to 9:00pm on weekends.
The blog link above has a small map to guide you, not to mention all the photos.

LOL.. Charles.. that one got a lot of play in the English blogosphere here as is a bit ironic in the context of Korea’s obsession with foreign language learning.
Translator – You’re the man! I’ll be checking this out when I’m up in Jeju-si getting a replacement charging cord for my ailing iPhone.
