For whatever reason (via The Idependent online), no Korean books are in the running for the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize. This could be because none were published in England, which I find unlikely, or perhaps a general reflection of the unknown nature of translated Korean fiction.

Similarly the Best Translated Book Awards winners had no Korean fiction represented.
